Platte River State Park

Stone Creek Falls

This short hike has a small waterfall and a creek. It is easy to do with young children. It isn’t worth a trip just to see this, but if you’re taking a trip to Omaha or any other day trip in that direction it is a nice place to stop.     

Pedal boats

We rented pedal boats and got to pedal around the pond. When we went they had life jackets too.

Baker's Candies/Chocolates

This used to be a small place to get chocolates. Now it is a huge candy store that also has chocolate. They have meltaway chocolates in many flavors and most of them are really good. This is in Greenwood, NE.

Mahoney State Park

A drive thru safari that has a place to get out to walk to some animals. It also has a short hike.
