Glenwood Springs Caverns Adventure Park

We went here in 2017. Our kids were 3 & 5 at the time. It was pretty cool. We got to take a gondola ride to the top of a mountain to get there. We got to go on a cave tour, a seated zipline, an alpine coaster and more. Our kids were too young for some of the rides, but they did have more to do. We had a great time!

Hanging Lake & Spouting Rock Hike

We did this hike in 2017. Our kids were 3 & 5 at the time. It looks like a permit with timed entry may be needed now. We got there early and we were lucky to find a spot. When we left the line was backed up on to the highway. Maybe timed entry will help with that.

The hike was quite challenging. It was basically climbing up rocks the whole way. Our kids did well with it but I was pretty nervous about them falling. It was a 3 hour, 2.8 mile round trip hike. It was completely worth it in my opinion. There was another small waterfall on the way up that was beautiful. Hanging Lake was breathtaking. 

Then we went up a little higher to Spouting Rock. It was a rock cliff with a waterfall over the top and one coming randomly right out of the middle. It was very cool to see.
